Several years ago I went to Dr Wenzel for pain in my side. She did a scope and found a small cyst on my ovary and in her words it was nothing that should give me enough pain to wake me up from sleeping, which it had. Her comment to me was, "Sometimes these things are psychological" That was the last time I saw her.
I felt like Dr. Jill listened carefully to my concerns and followed up so that I could understand her rationale and process to examine and test for issues. Great communication
Diane Adam was my OB. Both my pregnancy and delivery were easy, but about a week after giving birth, I went to the ER at the hospital where I delivered and Diane was the OB on call, I went to the ER because I was seeing sparkles in my peripheral vision, had an excruciating headache for 5 days lwas nauseated, Diane diagnosed me as an overtired new mom, but I knew something was really wrong and I was getting the brush off. Dr Adams examined & consulted on an abnormal sonogram of mine. She was very caring, personal, and explained everything carefully so that I could understand. Took time to answer all my questions.
Dr. Adam isn't my regular obgyn (one of her partner's in the group is) but I've seen her before; She was very efficient with my appt. time; getting me in the schedule to be seen sooner. Her nurse is super nice and made me feel very comfortable there. I was there for an IUD check and it went very well.
Dr. Shepard is super personable. She took all our concerns when we were expecting very seriously and always looked at things with caution. The OBGYN Associates office is beautiful and easy to get to. She did amazing surgical work during my c-section. Highly recommend Dr. Shepard!
Dr. Wenzel is absolutely amazing! I'd recommend her to anyone.
I would recommend her to any of my friends. Very kind doctor; saw her during my pregnancy and while at Mercy Hospital Iowa City during postpartum recovery.
Do not go to jill goodman. I found a lump and she told me it was not a lump that it was my stool. I had to argue with her to do an exam. It was cancer!!! and if I would’ve said OK and walked out I would be dead right now!! do not go to her she does not care she’s not very thorough. shes in the wrong profession!!! Awful awful doctor and then when she found out that she was in the wrong and I was right, she left the room and she had never spoke to me again she left me laying there on the table awful awful person she should not... read more
