I was moved to doctor Lori after my original doctor had left the practice to over shadow residency students. She was attentive and listened well. After reading the other reviews, I was surprised by the lack of enthusiasm for Dr. Lori Cavender; I am super anxious about any change and she was emphatic and understood I trusted my previous doctor. Unfortunately Lori isn't too informative or helpful. She did things right at first, somewhat, by doing bloodwork and a ultrasound. The visits after she's just hands off and "meh", doesn't listen to concerns, nor does she really care.
The entire staff was very concerning, attentive, and friendly. I am always very comfortable with each visit.
I have not seen Dr. Cavender, however I know for a fact herself and her incredible staff helped my mother and 100%changed the quality of her life and ultimately really just saved her life. I am forever grateful and will definitely be making an appointment for my own needs.
I was severely sick with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) while I was pregnant. She diagnosed me, and still wouldn't sign off on my paperwork to stay home! My line of work requires me to stand on my feet all day. I was weak, couldn't keep even water down, and even took multiple trips to the ER for dehydration! This lady would NOT sign my Unium paperwork, and had the nerve to tell me that if pregnant nurses could stand and work 12hr shifts, that I for sure could!
