Dr. Claypool diagnosed me with PCOS, and told me that my only treatment was birth control. She then confused me with another patient saying that I had told her I was trying to get pregnant. As a high schooler I was obviously not. The only thing she did was print out a few pages about PCOS and sent me home. And when I was leaving, the lady at the front desk asked me when the doctor wanted me back I had said that she didn’t mentioned anything. Her response was “she probably doesn’t need you then”. I love Dr. Claypool - I appreciate that she is very straightforward and our appointments are clear and she answers all my questions. We don't spend a lot of time worrying about things until they come up, and with this being my first pregnancy, I really appreciate her keeping me from getting spun up about things!
Dr. Claypool neglected me and refused to run tests, blaming my weight instead. She rushed me, was very rude, and very unprofessional. She did not save the notes taken during my visit, writing them on a paper towel instead. She simply printed an info sheet on PCOS and sent me away. No physical exam or anything. She did not even know what my appointment was for upon entering the room.
