I am so disappointed! It took me forever to find a new patient neurologist appointment, which was a follow up after having 2 seizures with ambulance trips to the ER. We had never been to this office and the traffic on 45 was horrible! I called to let them know that I would be a few minutes late to my 8am appt and they said as long as I was there at or before 8:15 it was fine. Horrible insensitive man. My mother (a mother of 5 and guardian of 2 additional) waited for an appointment after having two pretty serious seizures. She was scheduled at 8AM appointment and already had all new patient paperwork completed prior to arrival. Due Houston traffic she was showing to be a FEW minutes late. She called the front desk and they said as long as she was there before 8:15 it would be fine. She arrived at exactly 8:15 and the doctor still refused to see her. Dr Blas was fantastic. He was gentle with my husband when giving the diagnosis of Dementia. He talked about medication, referral for a MRI and answerd all.my questions. I am shocked to see any review that is not a 4 or 5. This doctor has been the answer to my prayers when needing help with my husband. Rebecca Samie
Office visit was cordial but not specific to a patient with a TBI. Follow up with office staff was insufficient to resolve outstanding issues relative to neurosurgeon visit. Would not recommend as a first instance.
