No David's Bridal! My experience at David's is not worth wasting my space here, but I felt like I was just another girl in a department store that was short on experienced staff. A couple of friends suggested Loren's and I'm so glad I went. The girls all give honest opinions, and I never felt pressured that I needed to buy right away even though I only had 8 months to go before my wedding. Small shop with a great selection and very professional help and PERSONALIZED service.... As a second time bride I approached the dress buying with some trepidation...how not to look too young nor too matronly...The girls were helpful supportive and engaging throughout the process. The "right " dress was found, ordered and arrived promptly. They maintained an open channel when I panicked a bit when the dress disappeared on line because it was discontinued and assured me it would arrive with time to spare....it did!!! Had a bad experience, do not recommend I felt as though I was Julia Roberts in pretty woman when she went shopping for the first time. I went in with my maid of honor looking for my bridal dress. We went in and a person started yelling down stairs asking for someone specific. She finally came down to see who it was. Great customer service & no pressure ! I loved this shop and the girls that work there. Very comfortable atmosphere, small and intimate, not a mall store at all. The girls that run it are all family and really make you feel special. They helped me find the gown of my dreams, my bridesmaids, and my mom's dress...all went very smoothly. Great selection of veils and headpieces too. Not too pricey, and that also goes for their alteration charges. Very Small Located in a nice area - small shop and I had to take my shoes off! not a lot of bridesmaid dresses. they don't have bras or shoes there, but a nice selection of veils and necklaces.
