We had a wonderful stay. The lake is just what we needed. The beds were pretty terrible. The pillows were as well. My kids had fun. The lake was full of fish and plenty to do. The resort was quite and pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Amber and Grant are awesome! Took my dad for Father's Day, the fishing was killer! Caught 5 bass right off our dock! 25 min drive from The HeadWaters in Itaska State Park. Will be coming back!
Grant and Amber are gracious hosts. The cabins have been updated but are still dated as the resort was built in the 1950's. Still for the money they are a value. We have already made plans to return next year.
We had been going here for over 8 years and loved it. It is beautiful, clean, relaxing. The old owners from when we started coming were wonderful. The newest owners are ok. We stopped going because there was an issue with the boat motor on the pontoon we always rented and they blamed us instead of themselves and poor maintenance for the issue so insurance would cover it. In doing that, they refused to allow us to rent the pontoon anymore per insurance. They also, the last couple years, told us we didn't sweep and vacuum the ... read more
