A truly great kayak rental experience from Loon Kayaks and Susan. She was so friendly and accommodating. Gave our group the best recommendations for where to go swimming and kayak for the day. Got us on the water The day of the reservation and had great prices/ rates. Susan even got some photos of our group as we came in for the day, and this was such a special touch. Thank you, and I can't wait to come back again in the future! Will definitely recommend this to others
We were visiting Appleton for a day trip and couldn’t wait to get on the water! It was a struggle to find a boat ride that wasn’t a fishing charter. I LOVE to kayak, but my kiddos would rather watch me, than join in. So, at the last minute, we searched for kayak rentals and found Loon Paddle Company! They had me call the Waupaca location and just a short 35-minute drive to Knight Lane and 3 small wetland lakes later, and we were on the WATER!! One of the best times I’ve had on the chain of lakes. Susan was incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed are time and we can’t wait to return again. Very helpful and explained everything so clearly. Very communicative and right there for everything we needed.
It was very easy process renting from Loon paddle shop. Susan explained everything so well, met us at the landing spot and went over a map with us. This was my first time kayaking, so I knew nothing. She was very friendly, patient and informative. She gave us a great experience that we will never forget. I will be recommending this place to everyone and will definitely rent from them again and again!
