A delightful little place set in a beautiful location just a few miles inland from Reedsport. Loon lake was calm and tranquil and the cute little cozy cabin we stayed in was well worth the slow winding drive in. Stunning scenery as you cruise by a creek that follows you most of the way to the lake itself from the Umpqua river. Spent two months here way back in 1988.. I loved this place.
We have been coming here for many years and this was the worst! Stayed the last weekend in August. Obnoxious loud RVers with blasting Country music all the time! Screaming kids running wild through our camp site all day and nite, shining flashlights in tents at 2am! No resident manager enforcing camp rules anywhere. One group brought in multiple byvehicles, giant inflatables, and staked out half the beach with canopies and lawn furniture for the entire weekend. We will not return. Very very disappointing.
