Builder did not carry an appropriate bond on the home so my Lender was unable to complete the contract. After this we tried to get our ernest money back due to this and was unable to do so . They stated due to the length of this process they would take legal action for damages due to it taking multiple months unless we relinquished our ernest money. Loomis Homes built our home out in Watertown, MN. I could not be happier with the experience we had from start to finish! While building our home, we were updated every step of the way. Even after our move in date, we were able to reach out with questions and always were responded to promptly! We had a concern about a piece of trim shortly after moving in, and they sent someone out THE NEXT DAY and had it fixed immediately! Recently purchased a new home build from loomis. Quality is pretty good. Communication and getting to a final finished point is absolutely terrible. You'll never know if sidewalk, driveway and sod is going to be finished in a timely manner. If you want things done professionally and timely, do not go with loomis homes

House is what you pay for, a starter home without many bells and whistles. Loomis proposed timelines have so far not been met in any of our dealing with them, from pushed back closing dates to repair and escrowed work. The nails under the carpet almost immediately started to push out of the subfloor and there was a significant amount of work that needed to be redone during the final walkthrough and post closing.

We had the pleasure of having a home built through Loomis in 2016, and also had them finish our basement just recently in 2018. They were great throughout the entire process both with the building of the home and finishing of the basement. As close to headache free as one could expect when having a new home built. Timely, responsive, and willing to work with special requests where they could. Definitely an A+ company.

We love the design/layout of Loomis Homes. Other than that, we wish we never would've bought our home. Our home was supposed to be a walkout, however we found out shortly after putting in our deposit that the survey was done wrong and if we wanted a walkout, we'd have to suffer with a 9% grade in our driveway. We opted for the full basement instead. Originally we had wanted blue siding but they discontinued it due to it not holding true to its color in the sunlight - great to know. We believe that at some point in the process of a Loomis home build project adjacent to our home, our chain link fence in our back yard was damaged. The hole is so large that our mid-size dog can run out of it, and repair quotes we have sought have been approximately $450. While we cannot pinpoint the exact day the damage occurred, our family did not cause the damage.
