the old lady was very rude and NOT helpful
I brought two pairs of brand new pants to Looks Smart Kotara for alterations in March. Both were ruined. Now, mistakes happen. What doesn't have to happen is a four-month odyssey involving NSW Fair Trading, an NCAT filing, and a court date before $213.80 is returned to its rightful owner. Staff acknowledged the damage in writing and committed to a full refund and reimbursement for the now unwearable pants, but only if I emailed them... Paid $270 for a zipper replacement in a leather jacket only for it to break in 5 months, they refused to replace it as their warranty is only 3 months!
