I went in to get a quote to have a pair of pants taken up. Im a 60yr old man on a fixed income so I wanted an idea on the cost to budget. The young lady said she couldn't without seeing the pants. She said minimum is $30 for anything. I asked would it be $40 or $50 around that cost. The response I got was a petulant pursed lips and a shrug of the shoulders. I had a great experience at Looksmart Sunshine Plaza yesterday. I needed some blazer pockets sewn on my daughter's school blazer. Cathy (hope I have the spelling right) had done this loads of times before and knew exactly what I needed. The price was almost half what I had been quoted at two other alterations places at the plaza which was very welcome as this is something I need done every year so it gets expensive. The customer service is deplorable and price quoted to replace the elastic in a waist band was $90! These people aren’t even trying. Embarrassing
Did such a good job fixing the clip on my favourite top, and they were so quick too! Also the girl at the counter was so sweet ☺️ Thankyou guys so so so much, I would recommend this place to everyone!
Would not recommend this place to anyone. I dropped some pants off to be altered before going away, given one week for them to be ready. I then returned a week later to collect, after waiting 20 minutes to be served then another 10 looking for them, they had not been done because they lost them. I was advised I would only get a 10% discount for this inconvenience, when returning the following day in a rush to pick them up before leaving I was given a 10% discount card off my next order.
