Absolutely loved our weekend visit to the Gatehouse! It was so quiet and peaceful, plus walking distance to the hotel was a plus! Make sure you sit on the porch and enjoy the scenery and nature! We saw tons of deer, fireflies, baby armadillos, and a little fox! We will most definitely be back!

Calm and relaxing. If you're looking for a gateway, this is it. The house is older, but charming and has modern amenities.

Perfect for our Wedding party to stay nearby each other. Our puppy was a holy terror that weekend as he’s not used to being crated so much. We will probably never let him go on another vacation again but we wanted him in our Wedding photos. He chewed on a chair without us noticing during the Wedding festivities. Owners were super nice and didn’t charge an arm and a leg for the damages. Crescent Hotel Crystal Dining Room is in walking distance and was great for breakfast.
