Stacey- I was actually there when this happened and witnessed the interaction. The appointment was at 5:00 PM and the gentleman came in around 5:21 PM with a child. The barber politely explained that he was late and that she had another client scheduled for 5:30 PM. She also explained that a child’s haircut takes the full 30-minute appointment, so there simply wasn’t enough time to do the haircut without making the next client wait. I scheduled a 5:00 PM appointment for my son’s haircut. My husband arrived about 15–20 minutes late, and I understand that being late can affect an appointment. However, what happened afterward left us feeling very uncomfortable. When they walked in, they felt like they were being looked at as though they didn’t belong there.
