Went here 27/2/26 to have front shock struts replaced on 2015 FGX XR8 (supplied) I am a Mechanic by trade and told them this, but still didn't stop the ripoff!! I was unable to do this job simply because of neck and back injury, so opted to get it done by someone else, knowing it was a simple job!! and should have been charged accordingly!! These guys charged 4 HOURS LABOUR on a job that was simply 2 HOURS MAX any time of the day. I have been taking my car to Martyn & the team for a while now, and it is always 10/10 service. Today I was travelling with my 5 month old baby and had a concern with the car. They were able to fit me in immediately to check it over - thankfully in this case it was nothing to be concerned about. I was extremely grateful for their care and taking the time out of their busy day to explain in a way I could understand. Cannot recommend them highly enough - they really do go above and beyond.
My partner recently had her Ford BF Falcon in for a genuine Ford alternator replacement and a high-pressure power steering hose. The alternator was charged at $600. After the work was completed, I contacted Ford directly and was quoted half that price for the same genuine Ford alternator. When I questioned the owner about this significant difference, I was told it was due to his supplier’s pricing.
