About this business
Originally the home of cowboy artist Lon Megargee, this last remaining authentic Arizona hacienda is still decorated with southwestern art and trappings. The Hermosa Inn's fine dining room features a tempting array of Arizona-inspired and contemporary American dishes. Among the more unique are the Texas Wild Boar Chop on sweet potato risotto with spinach, corn and black-eyed peas and the Osso Buco on Kalamata Olive Risotto with Provencal Vegetables.

Lon's at the Hermosa Inn is a very special restaurant in Paradise Valley. We go there whne we visit Phoenix. The décor and atmosphere of the restaurant is "Old Arizona" -- a sophisticated traditional look and feel of classic desert architecture. The food and service are excellent. The patio is a great place to enjoy a drink at or after sunset with live music. When the nights turn cold, the patio dining and drinking areas also feature the warmth of a fire with the smell of mesquite.
