I described the pain in my wrist near base of my thumb and he said he can give me a shot but could not guarantee that it would work or not. That wasn't very encouraging to hear. Maybe he hasn't been in business very long to know what to do in each situation. The shot worked for about an hour and then as it wore off my index finger started tingling and then by end of day that fortunately went away. Dr. Reesor in Longview was a good doctor so I tried to make him my primary spine doctor. I quickly changed my mind after calling the Marshall office to get paperwork swapped. Once I told Rebecca I don’t have insurance, she had no interest to talk to me, wouldn’t give me any options on what to do, or where to go. Because of her, I’ll be going somewhere else (which seemed to be her goal)
I WOULD GIVE 10 STARS IF ALLOWED. I've been seeing Dr. Porter's Nurse, Amber James for the last year. She is very professional and very concerned with what problems you are having. I will continue to see her. I followed her from Marshall clinic to Longview Ortho clinic. She never just runs in and out. She will spend all the time needed with you and answer any questions you might have. Never waited more than 10 minutes before seeing her. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER IF YOU ARE THERE JUST FOR MEDICATION REFILL'S.
Friendly and helpful office staff and nurses. Dr. Fontenot is a great Dr! Listens and explains well and super nice!
