I booked an appointment two weeks in advance for my mum’s stitch removal after cyst surgery — exactly as instructed by the doctor. We turned up for the appointment today only to be told there was no record of it. Instead of owning the mistake or trying to fix it, they blamed us and gave another appointment two weeks from now — which would make it over a month since the stitches were put in. The deceased had passed away due to a short-term cancer diagnosis, and as a result, I was in possession of a large shopping bag of prescription medication that I needed to return.
