Reading all the negative reviews/comments, I am just another dissatisfied customer. I would not recommend using this builder/company. High turnover of site supervisors and extremely poor or non existent communication. This includes maintenance and Construction Manager. Poor workmanship including painting, tiling and plumbing. Broken stormwater pipes that were underground, not providing what was contracted, the list goes on. Shame on you Longridge/Gallery Living.
My house is under construction, however getting the Longridge Group to actually finish a job that they start is becoming a nightmarish experience. They two thirds clad the house, but then ran out of materials and promised for months that the rest will be finished “next week”. Maybe “next week” will come next week after all. They have done two thirds of the tiling, but then ran out of materials and as yet haven’t returned as per the indicated timeline. I started as a happy customer. It wasn't a great process, but we were mostly happy with the build. After we bent over backwards to meet a final inspection though, we made the mistake of making our final payment. Since then, they have failed to attend to defects for over 6 months, have never called back without prompting and have never managed to follow through on a single commitment or promise.
