It's a grocery store not much to say
I went here to order a birthday cake and it was not a good experience. There were two people in the cake counter and one person said their printer used for making cake prints is not working so they cannot make any cakes that require a print. While discussing the options, the other person came and said the printer should be working and they should be able to make the cake I wanted. Yes it is more expensive for some things. Like the bananas are $1.29 a pound and I normally pay about $0.59 a pound. However, these bananas are organic and fair trade . I don't normally buy organic but I don't belive these are much more expensive than organic anywhere else. I will say though that I didn't have to pick the best looking produce since all their produce looked great! I think this place is worth the money. Only 4 stars since I can't give 4.5. A perfect 5 for me would be cheap and have amazing quality!
My daughter and her friends had a class at the loft (I unfortunately didnt get the instructors name) but she was absolutely mean and horrible to all the children, even to me as a parent. It was quite a traumatic experience, she wouldn't even let them wash their hands in between stations or at the end. Constantly ignored kids who raised their hands. Referred to them by numbers not names saying things like "your ears need training", "this is a kitchen not a playground". I would recommend in the Ancaster location but stay away ... read more
