We have been regular customers for many years. We find that the produce is typically fresh and a good selection of vegetables. The selection of seafood is better than other stores in the area. There seems to always be a variety of fresh fish and meats. The deli and the bakery offer fresh meats, cheese, and baked bread, etc. The store is always kept clean. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. We do shop elsewhere for specialty items or for good deals but we do like Longo’s for our everyday needs.
I decided to get something for my friend’s baby shower at this store. Both Suzana and Bibi from the bakery department, helped me get some Portuguese tarts. And they decorated the tarts with a message for the baby girl as well as some other small touches. It meant a lot to me, and their efforts were a major hit. Definitely recommend!!
A bit expensive, but the deli typically has a better selection of quality meat than other grocery stores in the area. The bakery has q vast selection of items as well.
