not to rent with them, but fell in love with the old quirky house. Had to call many times to get someone to come out to spray for roaches, and to get rid of the huge rat/squirrel population. Left the place WAY cleaner than when we moved in, but they still took $250 off the deposit for cleaning--150 of which was for carpet cleaning which we thoroughly cleaned & even had rugs on in areas with traffic. I have rented for many years but this by far was the most unfair, unprofessional, and unpleasant experience. They fix nothing while your renting and has let someone on the lease walk in and take their name off of it leaving the other person totally responsible. Do NOT rent from these people. They are greedy and hateful!!!
I responded to an ad in the daily newspaper about an apartment for rent. It was a cute, nice looking place..i turned in my application along with my deposit and was waiting to hear back from Beth about the move in date. Approximately a week later she left a message on my cell for me to return her call. I immediately called her back expecting to be given my move in date and an appointment time for the lease signing; however, instead of that, she tells me her husband doesn't want to rent to me because of my children. I would NEVER rent from these people again. They appear to be nice and polite when u first meet them but after your name is on the lease they turn into grade A douche bags. First off I was not allowed to enter the apartment until move in day even though the lease was signed days before. That should have been a red flag. The water had not been ran in months so rust came out when turned on understandle but after I had ran it for days the water had not cleared up at all.
