I am very happy with my choice of Longhorn Solar. I met with 3 companies to quote for solar panels and a battery. It was difficult to choose between the different companies. I picked Longhorn for a number of reasons. Their price was good from the beginning for the REC panels and Powerwall 3 that I wanted. Had some issues, but worked through them. Update 11/12 - Danny ( the Austin area GM ) reached out and got a masonry company to do some repairs to the wall. The walls are not perfect, but it's acceptable and the system is working as it should at this point. Hopefully they can continue to improve their quality control and communications in the future, it shouldn't ever have to come to talking with the GM to get things in a good place. Don't walk... Run away from this company. We purchased a Tesla Powerwall III through this company. The Order Process was fine and it came in fairly quick. (primary payment on 8/7) After this is where it all went downhill. We were told it was a 1 day install. The crew(2 guys) that came out drilled a bunch of holes all over the place after showing up 4 hours late and left breakers open, power shut off to large portions of the house, solar panels, and conduit unsealed. Said someone would be back in a day or 2 to finish the job.... read more
