No no idea how other chinese restaurants may do their job and food, Longfei doesn’t disappoint me. I ordered the stew beef which tasted good but quite salty for me. So I poured some vinegar to balance the taste. Location is so convenient and close to campus. I walked for about 10 mins from IMU to het here. Many seats and food served quickly as expected. Plus the owner is very friendly and polite.
Friendly and humorous service. The food was excellent.
We ate here twice while visiting Bloomington. Can't recommend the iron hot pot enough, specifically the chicken. Maybe the best single Chinese dish we've had in the Midwest out of a lot of Chinese restaurants. So try the iron hot pot! It's spicy and meant for 2 people to share. The other day the brown sauce pork rib and garlic eggplant were both great, the kung pao chicken was fine but not quite as good as the other dishes imo. Will definitely return next time we are in town.
