Recently took my mother-in-laws car into Longbeach Automotive, after picking the car up from other side of the city (engine changeover). Too far to take it back to the changeover people, they said take it to a local mech. Oil light was coming on / going off. Spoke to Bob at Longbeach first, he had a few ideas, then spoke to Ryan (owner of Longbeach). Ryan said to leave the car with him and he'll check it out. Very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic when it comes to 4wd. Owns an 80 series landcruiser himself so I definitely trust my car with him. Very happy with major transmission and clutch replacement.

I used to take my Mazda 3 to the Mazda dealer for servicing. But not anymore: I never came out of there for less than $800( for a basic service)!! I now go to Longbeach Motors, where I have been so impressed with their care and professionalism. And, so much cheaper. It is gratifying to have a reliable local mechanic who I completely trust and does not make me feel silly with some of my questions. They also let me know any work that needs attention. I highly recommend them😀😀😃😃

Ryan from Long Beach automotive was great to deal with. He was professional over the phone and gave upfront pricing. I had a noise coming from the front right hand wheel. They were able to diagnose and repair the fault whilst doing a standard service. Highly recommend.
