Im writing this review on what has happened dealing with Long Range Gear. The purchase of my NV4500 was very smooth. New Transmission came quick but the crate was missing trans oil and transfer case seals. Attempted to reach out by phone several times over 5 calls, left voice mails, emails and no call back. Finally reached someone via email and they told me it was in the crate but California must have removed the items on inspection so they will expedite oil and seals. Let me tell you about my adventure... I have a 2015 Ram with the G56 transmission. I needed a new clutch, and the truck had 300k miles on it and the trans was starting to make some noises I didn't like, so I asked my diesel mechanic who he recommended to rebuild my trans. He recommended Andrew. So Andrew rebuilt my trans, installed the new clutch I already bought, and I was good to go. I drove to Long Range Gear across country from NY to Washington to have Andrew and his guys do a NV4500 to NV5600 swap on my 98 Ram 3500 using one of his transmissions just because I knew the job was going to be done right 100 percent the first time. I was not let down one bit. I showed up at Andrew’s shop a day late and he worked through the weekend doing the swap with one of his clutches and other bits I asked for. All I can say is WOW!
