Great trip, the captain was very nice & helpful. Remember to tip!
The first mate was miserable. No smile, no expression other than irritation at being there. He didn't say anything, even when being thanked repeatedly, he stayed stone faced and silent. There is a sign posted that tips are customary and appreciated, yet not one ounce of help was given getting on or off the boat. Tips are for great service, not for being treated like a chore. The ride itself was fine, Long Point is a beautiful beach. The shuttle is one of the few ways to get there, so they don't have to be friendly or helpful... read more
