They still show up on Maps as an LJS, they still have deals posted in the window, they still have the menu up at the counter, but they have, apparently, "officially" stopped being a LJS restaurant. Talk about a letdown when that's exactly what you want, and have a hard time finding it anywhere. Not pleased.

We visited for Long John Silver's on vacation this past week. They are losing Long John Silver's soon. They didn't have LJS fries and gave my mom wedges on her order. The fish was cooked in bad oil (heard an employee say the fish didnt look right and another said it was probably old oil) it looked terrible. We canceled our order and got a refund. They were understaffed and the place was messy. Was disappointing because we like LJS and were looking forward to it.

I waited seven minutes at the box and thought something is wrong with the box so I pulled forward and waited another two minutes at the window and no one came to the window. No wonder Long John solvers is going out of business. Apparently they’re closing this on September 6, 2026, and I guess cause they don’t have anybody working. Even though it looks like they’re open. It’s sad that they can make it work anymore.

Over fried food. Hushpuppies were grease balls. Not what we expected from a Long John Silver
