This review is not for the restaurant it was just fine and so was the service. The food was the worst ever though. My Mom and I were excited because we haven't been to a LJS in 10 years since moving from San Diego CA. The coleslaw tasted like sauerkraut, hush puppies were good, rice was plain no salt no flavor, salmon was pale, clearly farmed, fishy, disgusting, fried shrimp had a wierd flavor maybe tarragon? Most of the $35 meal was unfortunately wasted and we went to McDonald's. They really have gone down hill. 🤮
DONT EAT HERE I USE TO LOVE THIS PLACE BUT RECENTLY THE FOODS BEEN TOXIC. THE FOOD IN THE AREA HAS BEEN CONTAMINATED RECENTLY BUT THIS SPOT DEFINITELY FELL OFF WITH THE QUALITY. EVEN FRESH THE FOOD WAS STALE LIKE THEY COOKED OLD MEAT.... I WAS PISSED. THE BREADING IS CONTAMINATED TOO. SHT IS BAD IN THE AREA BUT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT I GUESS HAS BETTER THINGS TO DO. THEY NEED TO CHECK THE FLOUR OR MIXES AND THE MEAT QUALITIES.
Not a place I would bring my family.
not sure what management is thinking the price verses portion size seems way off . but employees are very nice .I get the chicken, even paid to add a peace and was more like a kids meal . not ok for 15$
