First I was sent for a mammography and ultrasound, Dr. Jessica V called me for 90 seconds stating I need a biopsy. I asked a follow up question which was met with no answer or compassion for my experience. She told me to call someone else. I went for the biopsy. Results indicated malignancy. She never called, never replied to the imaging center, and the front desk staff were disrespectful when I called. The dr who did my biopsy called me. This was one of the worst experiences ever! It should not even be a 1 star!! It took 3 months to get an appt and one of the first questions I asked was if they took my insurance. I traveled over 45 mins to get there and back to be rudely treated and told they could not see me and my daughter. They claimed they did not take our insurance which was not true. Love Dr Valentino- I’m her regular in the Mineola. Saw her Syosset- Christina D. helped me in the front she is so sweet and nice very friendly and calming to talk to! Vilma was very helpful in obtaining an appointment! Christina is awesome. Thank you Christina ! Also the sono tech was very nice too, Catherine.
They charged me a copay but my insurance company detailed claim breakdown report showed that a copay wasn't required for my particular visit on that specific date. I emailed them and they neglected to reply regarding my concern. I then emailed them a second time a few days later after not receiving a reply from my first inquiry and informed them that I was going to dispute the charge with my credit card provider but still no reply from the dr's office, A simple reply is something in this day and age that one expects.
