I've been seeing Dr.Hanoeur for years and he's a great doctor (hence the 2 stars). However, everytime I've encountered this facility lately I've been having more and more problems. Their portal has been extremely buggy lately -- when I try and call to report it and have things fixed I'm always transferred to a voicemail box that never responds. The past 3 appointments I've had (mind you these are appointments spread out every 6 months), I'm always met with unwarranted, nasty attitudes from the staff desk. I really tried to g... read more
This place never answers the phone. You have to go in person for any questions. The pre authorization department Chelsea does not call you back. They kept my Botox bottle and are avoiding to speak to me.
My mother had a deplorable experience with Dr. Eric Hanauer. His bedside manner is that of an alley cat! During a visit to go over test results of my 82-year old mother, he was verbally abusive in how he addressed her! I was on the phone with her to hear the results of her tests, and instead of speaking with a doctor that demonstrated professionalism, empathy and care, I heard a rude, demanding and obnoxious individual who was yelling at my mother. Dr Roth is an Amazing caring Dr. please do not get me wrong but this is the second or third time I have been called 630-7pm and told that I need to reschedule my appointment and that the only available appointments are months later or weeks later with a P.A. SmH I have never had this happen with a Drs office before in my life and this is the second or third time this office has done this to me. In my opinion its wrong and shows no compassion for the patient especially if it’s happened numerous times..
Long Island Neurology was completely thorough and willing to help my condition.
