The Long Island Crisis Center is supposed to be there for people in need, especially on weekends or holidays when someone just might need someone to talk to. It can be very hard to reach out to your current mental health professional when their offices are closed because, well, mental health is a business. Called this place and they didn't help me, but said they had to hang up. Then called back and a recording came on telling me to call back in 10 minutes. Update: I called again hoping for a better experience but was told by some old lady that I was "being too negative" and then she hung up.

They came to my home pretending to help but instead work with the police to have my family members arrested.. don’t believe the lies they are not helping people with psychosis they just sending them to the hospital to get release
