I had my firstborn here and it was a great experience, the midwifes Rae, Jennifer and Genevieve were such a gentle and confident people I felt really safe and respected through the process also the mommy group is amazing to build your community and feel supported in the postpartum.

Switching from a traditional OB office over to Long Beach Birth Center was the best decision I could have made for my pregnancy journey. This was my 2nd time as a client of the birth center and I’m forever grateful for their care and compassion. Appointments at LBBC are never rushed and always thorough. Before hiring for care: no explanation of what prenatal service is provided through them. During care: vital check, baby heart beat check, and simple health questions ONLY.. I was charged $1000 no refundable deposit, initial visit $500, regular prenatal visits after are $350/ apt for JUST that. All other labs are referrals to different clinics, and that's additional copay if they take your insurance. It took months for their biller to get approval/denial through my insurance for our-of-network reimbursement confirmation. At ... read more
