5 ⭐ Review A Little Slice of Paradise! We originally booked Cabin 12 (the Walker Cabin), which was cozy, clean, and perfect for two. Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi wasn’t working, and after waiting until around 6 p.m. for assistance, management moved us to Cabin 10. The second cabin was spacious, had a full kitchen, and a working Jacuzzi. Both cabins offered beautiful views and plenty of privacy. Dear Traveler's If you are looking for a unique weekend getaway or a memorable experience along the Blue Ridge Parkway, I highly recommend these rustic cabins. The cabins are clean, fully furnished, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The grounds are well-maintained, so you only need to pack your personal belongings, food, and beverages. We loved our stay here at The Rocky Knob. It is very peaceful and relaxing. My only complaint is that the one bed is too high for a vertically challenged person like myself who is only 5 ft. Tall. I would recommend them to lower the bed or provide s stool. I definitely would come back.
We loved our groundhog mountain cabin! It was perfect for our anniversary getaway ❤️ The bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi was amazing and we loved the front porch swing. We brought our little chihuahua with us and she loved exploring in the fields. We didn't get to use the fire pit because it was too windy but we still sat there under the stars and enjoyed the sounds of nature. We stayed at Lonesome Pine Cabins from 2/26 for two nights and loved it. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and perfect for two people. The wood interior and mountain views were beautiful, and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch swing. The cabin is located on top of a mountain, and the drive up had some deep curves and narrow roads that made me a little nervous. But once we arrived, the scenery was worth it.
