We loved our stay here at The Rocky Knob. It is very peaceful and relaxing. My only complaint is that the one bed is too high for a vertically challenged person like myself who is only 5 ft. Tall. I would recommend them to lower the bed or provide s stool. I definitely would come back.
We stayed at Lonesome Pine Cabins from 2/26 for two nights and loved it. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and perfect for two people. The wood interior and mountain views were beautiful, and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch swing. The cabin is located on top of a mountain, and the drive up had some deep curves and narrow roads that made me a little nervous. But once we arrived, the scenery was worth it. The Jacuzzi had a few issues with the water temperature and a broken knob, but outside of that, everything was wonderful.... read more
We loved our groundhog mountain cabin! It was perfect for our anniversary getaway ❤️ The bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi was amazing and we loved the front porch swing. We brought our little chihuahua with us and she loved exploring in the fields. We didn't get to use the fire pit because it was too windy but we still sat there under the stars and enjoyed the sounds of nature. The cabin was great! We spent a quiet weekend on the parkway at the best spot. The cabin is so clean and welcoming and the front porch is perfect to sit and sip your coffee. It was tucked away right off the parkway but a short drive to local restaurants and only about 20-25 minutes to Galax for more shopping and dinner options. I would absolutely recommend this spot to others and will definitely be going back!
Wonderful quiet little spot. Off the beaten path but you can have pizza delivered.
