I’m posting this on behalf of my friend because his review was deleted—but I was there as well and can confirm our experience. We visited Lonerider Brewery on March 22, 2025, at 6 PM, and the service was terrible. The lady at the counter was extremely rude, which really put a damper on our visit. I love this spot! I have had good experiences at all the LR locations! Wake Forest, 5 points (now closed :( ), RDU airport, but my favorite will always be the original Gulf Court location. Keep doing good things!
Perfect place to meet up with friends, sit down, have a glass of cold beer and hear your friends and yourself talking.
After buying TWO drinks at the wake forest location the bartender told my friend, “I can tell a lot about a person from the amount they tip”… clearly forgetting about the $4 in cash I also tipped her making that a grand total of $6 on a $30 tab. Extremely rude to talk about customers and the amount they tip especially when I tipped way more than I should have. I will never go back here and I don’t recommend anyone else because the bartender will talk shit about you after you tip her 20% because she can’t do math.
