It is totally worth having it! We got hit by the storm on 5/22/24 that was part of the EF2 tornado that affected West Temple. We went into our above ground storm shelter that was installed in April 2024. During the storm the sound and vibration were horrible. We sensed the pressure changes. Very scary, but we were safe! There is damage to the house - roof, exterior walls, gutters, lost most of our big trees… but we are fine! The shelter is well built and anchored to the concrete slab. Great company to work with. Mason did a wonderful job as the point man - he was friendly and courteous. The installation crew was also friendly and courteous and the end product was exactly what was promised. My wife and I could not be happier for having a product that we hope we never have to use! I highly recommend Lone Star Safe Rooms.
