At my first appointment I told the doctor that I wanted an ablation done on my upper back. I had already had epidurals and 4 facet block injections done and I knew my horrifying pain was from the nerves in my thoracic vertebrae. He told me my Medicare insurance stated I had to go through 8 more facet block injections. Not only did he lie to me, he refused to do an ablation or to help me any further as a patient. Said he'd keep giving me pain meds but refused to do any other procedures to relieve my pain.

First let me say there are several docs at this practice. I think I must have gotten the most arrogant, impatient jerk they had. He rushed me thru my exam. I was trying to get pain relief for cancer related nerve damage. This doc immediately wanted to put me thru these steroid injections in my back. The bills I got said they were billing the insurance company $5,000-$7,000 per treatment.
