Not sure how some reviewers have recently stayed at the Wells Lone Star Motel, it is derelict, has abandoned vehicles and for the four days we were staying next door, nothing changed. However, it has a charm to it that if someone overhauled it and fixed the broken 1960s era neon sign it could be a boutique motel.
The visit was pleasant, with the exception of housekeeping, they kept coming but asking me if I needed more towels...
I got that pink champagne 🍾
It is a shame that this has been torn down someone should have tried to save it
