John was very helpful and prompt in dealing with my concerns.
I've done a lot of research and I don't recommend going anywhere else but Hammer Marine TX when buying a lone star GX style anchor winch talk with John he is absolutely awesome just purchased mine today I also understand they are absolutely perfect when it comes to warranty issues they are on top of it! That information came from Alaska.
Purchased a Lone Star Marine GX3 winch 4 years ago from these guys. I have used and abused that anchor winch more in 4 years than most people would in 10 lifetimes (It was/is being used commercially on a 29' Center Console charter boat in SW Florida).
