Caring, Excellent Staff and Vets We started going to Lone Peak nearly 20 years ago.I remember one holiday season, when our veterinarian, Dr. Way, dropped everything and came down to see one of our pets, who had been having a struggle. Everything turned out fine, but it might not have, if she had not offered to come--at that time no after hours clinics were open.Long story short, what I like most is that Dr. Way looks for the positive. She attends veterinary conferences every year and keeps abreast of the times and of the lat... read more

Genuine Love and Care for our Furry Family Member Our 6 year-old Goldendoodle was diagnosed in 7/11 w/ Bone Cancer by this amazing medical team. They educated us on what they were seeing in the exams, took time to consult w/ other doctors & specialists, advised us where to go for further specialized treatment for Dakoda's care & continued to provide wonderful customer service. When our family took part in an American Cancer Society Walk in October LPVH offered their encouragment & support by being a vendor and having a team ... read more

Stay Away! DO NOT take your animal to Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital in Draper, UT. I had to take my dog there. He had a seizure that incapacitated him so much that he was not able to walk or function anymore. I had to make the difficult choice to let him go. He was a Scottish Terrier/Chihuahau (or some other small breed) mix and he had refused to eat all week long. He was small to begin with, but had lost a lot of weight this week. He was so super skinny. After having him put to sleep, I returned home. About 1/2 an hour late... read more

Forever asleep We arrived a little early for our vet appt. (happens when you have to travel with 3 large dogs). We checked in and sat down with our dogs. A couple arrived just as we were sitting down. Immediately an attendant came over to them and met them at the door. They couple was sadly preparing to put their dog to sleep. The attendant took the obviously sad couple to the back. I was touched by how quickly and kindly the couple was greeted at the door, and how comforting it was to see that the clinic was so interested i... read more

Good Vet Hospital. LONE PEAK VET is a very good vet hospital. I have had two Police dogs that have been treated there and have never thought the prices were unresponable. I would think that how Governments go, they like fair, resonable prices. Our department uses this Vet for our Police Service Dog which cost far more than anyone's else "pet". The price of a PSD is $10,000 plus. If departments have this much money invested in the animals and the Vet was no good, I don't think that several agencies would be using them. A+ in ... read more

The best Vet ever!! Lone Peak is an excellent Vet and has provided the best service ever too our Police Service Dogs for sometime! We visit Lone Peak on a regular basis and would not take our Police Dogs anywhere else. Lone Peak Vets are not only very knowledgeable and professional, but very friendly and compassionate when it comes to helping animals. I highly recommend Lone Peak for anyone with animals! After all, almost all of the Salt Lake Valley trusts these vets with their Police Dogs lives, so that has to say something... read more

Highly Recommended These guys saved the life of one of my friend's animals. Even though it's out of the way for me, I am happy to drive the distance to use their service. Best vet I have been to and I have been an animal owner for 15 years.

True Empathy continued... When that sad day arrived, the vet from Lone Peak cam to our house. We wanted him to be at home in familiar surroundings. They came out at night on a weekend and were so empathetic. I will never forget what the vet said as we were saying our goodbyes, "You guys are great parents, and don't want to see him suffer just so you can have him around. You are thinking of him and what he needs. I know this is hard, but is what is best for him." He passed away at home, with his "pack." Only a true lover of p... read more
