92°F inside my apartment. This is unacceptable. I’ve been waiting over a month for my AC to be repaired or replaced. I’ve submitted 5 maintenance requests, visited the leasing office 3 times, and sent a formal written demand. Maintenance instructed me to keep the central AC OFF because it blows hot air. Despite two portable AC units, my apartment is still 92°F.
Place is falling apart; we were shown a beautiful unit and ours was nowhere near the same level of quality. Sinks have slow drips, hot water runs out and has horrible pressure despite our own showerhead. Maintenance staff dismisses work as "doing the best it can" and does not fix problems, only bandaids them. Building is not insulated properly, they use cheap AC units that cannot keep up with the temperature outside. We have seen the thermostat get up to 82 degrees.
