I just had the most helpful and attuned check-in experience at LHSC Emergency. I had a swollen ankle and I tried to ignore it, but eventually the symptoms got worse. I was hesitant to get help because of the recent news and media representation of leadership that is predatory and misaligned with truth. I urge you to seek medical attention if necessary, and you do not have to expect there to be a long wait time. Show up and see the truth in-petson.

I drove over an hour to get to this hospital as I thought it would give me better care than the ER I have been to in my hometown. I waited for 14 hours till 4:00 a.m. when I couldn't take it anymore There wasn't even any food available. I left. The nurse came after me and suddenly found a physician to look at me. It was horrendous There were so many people in the waiting room they were sitting on the floor Anyone who was not a patient had to wait outside (it was pouring rain) or in their car People were brought in by ambulan... read more
