I haven't seen a recent review of this treatment place and I wanted there to be an up-to-date one so people are not discouraged from getting help here. I can't speak to the day treatment or residential program but I had a wonderful outpatient experience that I completed fully. The staff here were absolutely amazing and super helpful, my stay was was comfortable but it was a very difficult program with pretty harsh rules. I unfortunately wasn’t able to finish the program due to the 3 strike rule (3 strikes and you’re kicked out) the rule was very anxiety ridden and intimidating. The staff of course don’t make the rules just follow them, they were super get staff members though, I also met so great people. I participated in this program in 2018. This place was a joke. They treated me like I was an eating disorder; I was told I was not allowed to wear a coat in a very cold room because it was purely disordered behaviour - an attempt to conceal my body. Evidently one can’t be sick AND chilly; I was made to sit in the room for 50 minutes absolutely freezing (and I was not underweight). I'm very sure that there are many trained people that work here... I unfortunately had a fairly uncomfortable experience, feeling like I was being judged and rushed in my answers which gave me anxiety and made me rethink ever going back. I felt a lack of empathy, and a coldness during a good chunk of my assessment.
