Jim is the best in the business! We used him for an inspection, and he provided a very thorough and complete report with pictures. Afterwards, he sat down and explained the report in great detail. It is evident he loves what he does and is very knowledgable. It was important to us to have someone friendly, credentialed, and highly experienced. Jim met all our expectations and more.
Jim came out after we called for a second opinion after receiving an estimate from another company. He inspected our chimney and gave us a very thorough explanation of what the problems were and his recommendations. He took the time to make sure we understood, answered all our questions and recommended some masons to complete the work. He was very professional and I would highly recommend his services.
London Aire installed caps on our chimney a few years ago in order to prevent chimney swifts from returning to take up residence inside the chimney. We have called on them again to address a moisture issue that we recently noticed on the chimney bricks. In both instances they provided prompt, professional service with detailed inspection and diagnosis, and clear explanation of options and estimates with no pressure.
They came recommended by my mason and I was not disappointed. Very thorough inspection, report, and detailed following up with every phone call. Used photos and left pamphlets. Gave me education and information--not a sales job on any particular option. Excellent!
We went to London Aire because we needed a second opinion after another company had insisted we need major repair work to the tune of thousands of dollars. Jim walked me through, step by step, clear explanations of everything he did and everything he saw. He explained what we needed done, why, and when, and there was ZERO pressure to buy anything or use any of his other services. Would DEFINITELY recommend London Aire -- he has saved us LOTS of money!
