Service was excellent, waiters were nice and friendly. Food was very mid, meat had too many herbs, salad was very sour and chicken in it was too peppery. Additionally, even though the restaurant wasn't full at all we had to wait for about 30 minutes before we got our food. Portions were small, especially for the price. Talking about the atmosphere and vibe - to me it was slightly too dark. For some it would seem romantic, to me, I almost fell asleep. Overall, I would not come here again.

I was looking for dinner on a busy Saturday evening in October. Most of the restaurants on the main road looked packed and had long waits. This place is tucked away on a side road, and still had a little crowd, but I walked right in and got a table around 5:45pm; it was full by the time I left though. We had a fantastic dinner at Lompoc Café! As vegetarians, we were thrilled with the options. The food was all freshly prepared and delicious, and the service was perfectly efficient and prompt. A clean and inviting place to eat in Bar Harbor—we're already planning our next visit!
