Lombardi's On The Sound We've been to Lombardi's a few times for dinner and unfortunately on all occasions we were disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful and is located right on the Sound, but the quality and preparation of the food left much to be desired. The meat eaters in our party complained about grizzle. The broccoli rabe was al dente which means it wasn't edible. I'll go no further. I was rooting for them, but after three strikes, they are OUT.
Catering Hall and Restaurant A wonderful scenic place to have a catered affair. We had a baby baptism there and it was terrific. The wait staff and the matre'd were tremendous, they just cannot do enough for you. Then the food is truly unbelievable. The vast selection and each item was delicious.
After having our sons filet mignon dinner come out a third time uncooked, we decided this was not a place we would have a family gathering again, It is a shame due to the fact we had our daughters sweet 16 at villa lombardis in Holbrook.
