Hi As a recent new adult I was told I had to switch to a new therapist completely understandable with different lisensures. A week before my appointment they call and cancel saying she doesn’t take my insurance anymore I offered to pay cash she said she could not take that. My son had an autism evaluation scheduled for March 10 after the office called me on March 2 to reschedule his original appointment. I confirmed the new appointment the same day and rearranged my schedule to attend. When I arrived, the receptionist told me there was no appointment in their system at all. The therapist I am seeing is great and I have been with her for years HOWEVER I have had continuous problems with the receptionists here. From telling me the incorrect appointment times and dates to not relaying important information about prescriptions/medications to the NP correctly it seems like they are constantly dropping the ball and it is unacceptable.
