Great course that covered all the basics of hand tool joinery. Didn't think that I could do this accurate timber work without machines beforehand, but learning well-taught processes and techniques meant I've now caught the hand tool woodworking bug, thanks to Ross. Highly recommended.
Ross is a world renowned studio furniture maker, sculptor and teacher. His skill set and generosity in passing on knowledge is very humbling!
Ross isn't just offering how-to training, but the beginnings of a journey to understanding wood and tools and using them well; I could get addicted to this.
Ross at Lomandra Studios is the real deal. He runs a commercial joinery / furniture / design business and offers weekly classes and courses in all aspects of woodwork. A very knowledgeable teacher with an incredibly high skill set, Ross encourages excellence, is patient and clearly is passionate about what he does. We have learnt so much from attending his classes.
Great place to learn a new skill. Ross’ knowledge and teaching technique is beyond fantastic!
