Ross has been a great mentor to me over the years his knowledge and experience in the furniture / arts field is abundant. He is both kind and honest at the same time which is a combination that is hard to find in a person. I could not recommend him higher as a mentor and as a teacher.
Ross has a lifetime of experience. Knew the answers to all my questions. I learnt so much and was able to fast forward my project without making so many mistakes I would have made without his support.
Great course that covered all the basics of hand tool joinery. Didn't think that I could do this accurate timber work without machines beforehand, but learning well-taught processes and techniques meant I've now caught the hand tool woodworking bug, thanks to Ross. Highly recommended.
Ross is a world renowned studio furniture maker, sculptor and teacher. His skill set and generosity in passing on knowledge is very humbling!
Ross isn't just offering how-to training, but the beginnings of a journey to understanding wood and tools and using them well; I could get addicted to this.
