I was told to lie that I was trying to call another department during training for patients calling in if that department didn’t want to take in coming calls as not to upset the patient. Basically putting a patient on hold, pretend I was trying to reach a department, then telling the patient I tried to contact the department and take a message. Gave birth here and it was a wonderful experience. My daughter got sick 8 days after being born, so we took her in to the ER. The ped ER room staff was so amazing. My daughter spent 3 days in the NICU and I honestly couldn't be happier that she was in that hospital. The nurses were so attending. The ER is not the best place since it's so small and crowded, but other than that. This hospital has my heart. They took great care of me when I gave birth and great care of my daughter in the NICU.
