I highly recommend this program. I've been 3 times and each time I came out feeling like brand new. It's a huge refresh and can make your purpose in life and your motivation to live so much higher then it was before.
Loma Linda’s BMC PHP and IOP program is amazing! I started in a really dark place an having the structure of needing to show up was life saving. We were met with compassion and encouraged to regulate our emotions (while discussing hard topics and doing the work) with coloring and stimming. We also received lunch vouchers daily for the cafeteria at main campus which was nice. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I learned something new everyday and really enjoyed all of the different experiences between the counselors. Plus the groups are extremely supportive and creative. Lunchtime is another great time to socialize with the other people in class and the food is delicious. You will enjoy your time at this facility and take away alot feeling like a new person if you put in the work that is needed.
Loma Linda BMC did wonders for me. I came from a residential program, already having a good grasp on how to deal with my depression and suicidality, prior to PHP/IOP. The BMC extended this experience for me. This place has provided me with many great experiences and relationships. Through the BMC, I was able to finally reach the capacity for self acceptance and autonomy that I have always needed. This is an extremely integrated program! It even includes a dietician Mimi. Stacy and David are amazing therapists! As is Daniel. Erica the nurse is so thorough, compassionate, and just real! Dr Green is so knowledgeable and kind. Crystal, the receptionist is absolutely a rock of strength and organization! Mielad was always friendly with me in passing and knew who I was the first day.
