Came here with friends once on Fri for lunch and again on Sat-the service was horrible! The gentleman on Fri at least tried, which was appreciated but the older lady that was there on Sat, I can see why the establishment was empty; she was rude and not attentive to her customers. I asked for takeaway for my leftover porridge and meat the lady brought Styrofoam I asked for plastic she acted as if i insulted her. I recently visited the Lola’s restaurant and had a disappointing experience. The older lady serving us lacked respect and professionalism in her interactions with customers. Her mannerisms and comments were uncalled for, particularly when I requested a spoon for my friend. Her response, "Pele e ku ti e," was not only unprofessional but also dismissive. Home cooked meal. I already started eating before taking pictures of our food, so don't judge their food presentation by my photos. I was reluctant to order efo riro because my sister makes the best efo riro ever! However, I was pleasantly surprised. Goat head (isi ewu) with raw white onions is utterly fantastic. So flavorful and soft. Moderately spicy, a bit above sriracha. Huge portion too. The owner is so nice and helped me with the menu. This has become one of my favorite restaurants already.
